It's an echo chamber. We don't need an algo because we're all in it for the same reasons.
It reminds me of the libertarian meetings at the public library once a month.
They come together to complain about government interference, pat themselves on the back for knowing the truth, and then scare off anyone new who happens along.
Great people here and I enjoy it. And I absolutely hope Nostr continues to grow and other communities move over.
But it's not really a diverse community, from what I can see.

After looking into this, @nprofile…zka7 is correct. It appears CLI and @nprofile…970s are the only methods to setup an address when closing a channel.
It reads that it has to be part of the close request. That means you have to be the one closing to channel to set this alternative address. It doesn't appear you get the opportunity if the other party closes.
It would be cool if an alternative address (cold storage) could be part of the message when opening a channel with a peer.

Missouri just passed a bill to remove cap gains and we are waiting on the governor's signature.
If the federal government does the same, then everyone who has no cap gains requirement can fully use Bitcoin in any way they wish, fulfilling the goal of having a sound money.
